{"id":2406,"date":"2017-07-31T14:01:05","date_gmt":"2017-07-31T12:01:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog-alexis.monville.com\/en\/?p=2406"},"modified":"2017-09-04T15:39:29","modified_gmt":"2017-09-04T13:39:29","slug":"the-evolution-of-trust","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog-alexis.monville.com\/en\/2017\/07\/31\/the-evolution-of-trust\/","title":{"rendered":"The Evolution of Trust"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When forming a team, or starting to work with a team, I usually start with the foundation of a team: Trust.<\/p>\n<p>I even used several times, the book from Patrick Lencioni: <a href=\"https:\/\/blog-alexis.monville.com\/en\/blog\/2016\/03\/05\/the-five-dysfunctions-of-a-team\/\">The Five Dysfunction of a Team<\/a>, obviously because the &#8220;Absence of Trust&#8221; is the base of the pyramid.<\/p>\n<p>I remember playing 2 times, with large teams, a game based on the game theory, and a variant of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Prisoner%27s_dilemma\">prisoner&#8217;s dilemma.<\/a> The effects with one of the team were really great, for the one, where one of the participants betrayed not only the other team but also his own team, the results were not so good, for him and for his relationship with others in the larger team.<\/p>\n<p>So I am always struggling with the idea of bringing that game to build trust, because we could have someone in the group that will betray the others, and after that, it is difficult to deal with it.
